NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: 4 participants per organization

IMPLEMENTATION TIME: 08-16 April, 2025.

OVERVIEW: Mediterranean Change Makers project aims to comprehensively address the declining engagement of young people in democratic processes by offering tailored support and training through influential figures in their lives. Often, youth are perceived as disengaged and less responsible within their communities. The inspiration for our project stems from the recognition of the inherent capacity of young individuals to drive change. This presents a valuable opportunity for youth workers, mentors, and coaches from both Mediterranean shores to disseminate awareness and knowledge about the impactful role youth can play in actively participating and advocating for an improved society. The objective of the project is to raise awareness about active citizenship and youth participation, with the intention of strengthening the understanding of these critical concepts. Through our program, we aim to empower youth leaders and workers who engage with young people, providing them with the essential skills, confidence, and tools to effectively promote active citizenship.

PRFOILE OF PARTNERS:

We are looking for diverse partners from program countries and third countries not associated who bring unique perspectives and expertise to the project. Our ideal partners are organizations committed to youth empowerment, democratic engagement, and social inclusion. Partners should have experience in working with youth, particularly in fostering active citizenship and democratic participation.
